Yeah, I don't see Tony Ferg the same after that fight. That was a hell of a beating.

Yeah, very good call. I was thinking that as the fight went on... this is probably the last night of Tony Ferguson the way we’ve always known him. Looking back at that fight, it’s almost like Tony was never “in” it, despite lasting so damn long. He’s physically gifted so it seems like whatever spark he needed was just gone.
It may seem mean but Tony also has some really serious mental health issues, and that might have been part of it, too. I don’t say that pejoratively, either, but it’s something that has impacted his fighting career before. It’s nearly impossible to be a globally elite fighter when you don’t have to contend with that extra hurdle, and that motherfucker was already dealing with COVID, a fifth cancellation with Khabib, and a brand new opponent. Stylistically, I thought Tony had a better chance with Khabib than Justin, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he knew that too and was a little bit defeated walking in. I’d be amazed if that doesn’t affect him going forward.
Johnny Hendricks also never looked the same after losing to GSP. I suspect that everyone realizes other important details, sadly.

Sakai is smacking Overeem around quite a bit.
He looks like he'll gas, but he hasn't yet.
EDIT - wow, Reem hittin' that dick pretty hard.

betting the house on this guy next time. he's the real deal. next ww champ for sure.
Blah. Been watching highlights/interviews. I think for the first time in history Donald Cerrone said, "I'm going to take some time off." Looking back at his career I think he's one of the best dudes we've seen grow up in the UFC. Went from win or lose he was drinking budweiser and talking about his next fight to "I'm going to drive all night and be next to my son when he wakes up!"
That Chimaev punch was a fucking laser. Him vs Maia is going to be really interesting. Even at 42 years old and being one dimensional he's sneaky!
Boys! Costa and Izzy could be siiiiiick.

Conor vs Manny... honest question, does that excite anyone? I don't think any hardcore fight fan cares about that but I could be wrong.
I really wish Conor stuck to MMA but I guess the bread is too good to pass up if he fights big name boxers.
Can't wait for Costa / Izzy tonight. Going to be honest, Costa has won me over with some of his interviews, he seems super calm cool and collected and even got the better of Izzy in some verbal exchanges.
I could be wrong but I think Costa is in Izzy's head and we will see how much of a factor that will play in tonight.
Quite an evening of fights!
