Above is the first video I ever saw for him, it was a couple of years ago and I've been a fan ever since.
He has been steadilty making videos for the good part of the last 4 years or so, rarely ever diminshing in quality.
SO if your a fan of retro-games, watch this and become a happier person.

I know I'm going to get hated for this but to me the AVGN is nothing but scatological jokes and cursing...
I wouldn't call him "awesome", still he's not as bad as that irate gamer dude who seems to rip-off all his "material".
None of them compare to the spoony one though.

love the avgn, he's hilarious.
AVGN was good. He's not anymore. He's becoming a parody of himself and the character cameos are awful.

Meh he's kind of inconsistent, some videos he'll be extremely funny, but lately, he just seems rehashed past of himself...
All he naturally does is poor comedy acting with props, and enough cursing to cover a 20 feet well.
he's not funny, really.
