Pidgin Client Question

I'm trying to figure out if there's some way to assign sounds to specific people on your friend's list. Let's say my friend Bob messages me, and when Bob messages me, it makes a beeping noise. Now, let's say that Tony messages me, and when Tony messages me, it makes a ringing noise.

This would be useful to me when I'm playing games fullscreened and I don't want to tab out. Some games fucking take forever to tab back into. I know windowed mode would eliminate the need for this, but I'm too stubborn for that. Anybody know what they're doing when it comes to Pidgin?

Nevermind. I figured it out. There's a "Buddy Pounce" option that does exactly what I need it to do.

u can under 'pounce buddy' and check 'receive msg' and have it play a certain sound, I've never done this so u might wanna test it
