    You also never know how the person before you drove the car, you might have to replace the brake pads or tires or something. Point being, the history of the car is a mystery because people lie all the time about what its been through and what sort of maintenance has been done on it, if the person neglected getting the oil changed on time, etc.

    I honestly think you might've made a mistake. One should be very careful when getting a car, and as everyone has said the older the cars, the more likely it has problems. That is what one sees everyday as well.

    My advice: take very very good care of it, so it doesn't prove too costly in the long run.
