People who flatulate in public transportation

Isn't it very rude? Especially when they lift up 1 leg. It's like ok I have some dead-time, I will use this time to let one rip.
It happens to me too that I have to pass gas while on a bus and only if its my last resort lol but some people think a bus ride is just the right time to releave themselves of gas. I dont need to hear your asshole.
In some buses that I ride there are stickers that say 'please do not flatulate for the passengers convenience', so I feel more legitimate to tell the person he is disturbing my ride.
Do you think its rude to fart on public transportation? Are you bothered by it? What do you do when it happens to you?

as long as you dont make too much sound, i think its ok. the bus driver opens the doors every few minutes so no one will bother the smell.
