I wish shows would stop pussying out. House dying would have been GREAT. All that crap, all of it, and he decides to change at the last second (nobody changes, remember?) and he dies. Bam. Done. Sad ending. Everyone does their thing at the funeral. He's buried. End. Instead he gives up the one thing he actually cares about for a motorcycle ride across the country? So that when Wilson dies he can? What? Masturbate? Come on!

This entire series has been a medical spin off of Sherlock Holmes. Holmes faked his death in the end to avoid a similiar fate, it makes perfect sense why they did it here. Not only that the symbolism behind killing off the version of House he hated to give him a completely fresh start was great. There were a handful of routes they could have gone but tying it with it's muse was one of the better choices.

Things I learned from the episode that I didn't know before:

Wilson has terminal cancer
Cuddy has vanished
2 people on the team I didn't know existed
Every series finally has to have lots of flashbacks
House's character has not developed at all in 8 seasons.

i (along with a huge majority of others i guess) was sure that the series would end with House dying. i was however (pleasantly) suprised.

I really didnt want a sad ending with the protagonist dying at the end like many series nowadays are taking and even tho im saddened that the series is over, the ending made me feel somewhat happy:3

its been a great journey, ill miss House :'(
