Where do people play now?

There is match making actually, but if the search goes on for longer you can meet players who are much better or worse than you and it happens quite a lot that you match the same players twice or rarely even 3 times in a row sometimes.

can you play vs deisgnated people there? as in can you choose who you want to play against?
edit: wierd. got a msg from a bot ingame that server is gonna shut down in 5 seconds (all written in red letters), but it didnt. got disced after i finished the game and didnt count the win, but do these things occur often?
also just got a msg that there is no host to play, please try again latter.
edit 2: ok got disced again, guess some server issues.

i think i'm gonna give it another shot, last time I had 300ms and higher, while on azeroth + delay reducer i have 125.

just downloaded w3 arena and tried to play a game and I got an insta loss cause I couldn't join the game

game wasn't even in the list.
