    Probably something with directx I'd guess.

    It's probably an issue with the alignment of your unit portraits. You could try fixing that.

    Better than my issue: Excel 2013 crashes any time I attempt to scroll down.

    In the meantime I stayed with windows 7 and have no problems.

    I read something about Windows 8.1 changing some scaling stuff, so if you're having issues with a program that worked on 8.0, you should try disabling that and seeing if it helps. (I don't know how to do it/don't have 8.1 - but I assume it's like enabling compatibility mode or something.)
