well you cant really say "europe is catching up with america in obesity" cause of for example countries like UK. Look at sweden, norway or denmark. Not a fat person in sight more or less, its very rare for a kid to be fat here. And if they are, its usually because they were born that way, i.e they dont eat more junkfood or exercise less than anyone else.
