    Reformat troubles.

    Attempting to reformat my PC and have run into a problem. When I boot from the Windows XP disc and select the recovery console.. it is telling me I have no hard drive installed on my pc.

    Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    you might have to get the SP2 version of WinXP. There was an issue with HDDs with older versions of XP
