gyro copter bombs

is there a point in getting gyro copter bombs? there is only one strategy i can think of where u would acutally use gyrocopter bombs which would be towering ur base and doing hit and runs on the enemy base with gyrocopter bombs. is there any other strat that this would acutally be useful. gyro copter bombs seems like the most pointless upgrade. even against unarmed its still weak because it attacks slow and has no dmg output same as when attacking buildings with it.

the big problem i face with getting the bombs is that my gyros auto attack ground units, thereby making their insane air vs air attack useless, but as long as you have decent/mediocre micro, and can que and focus air units, it's fine

the hit and runs are suprisingly effective against the average wc3 player, and it is so much fun, every human player should try it
