without roloson, they're just not a championship team.
this is incredibly disappointing, after the run they've had.
i can't watch the rest of this series...i was such a roloson fan, and this goes back to his days in minnesota when he was an allstar. i always said if he got a starting job he could really go somewhere with it.
it's just too bad, it really is. this could have been a great series.

Carolina is getting owned. I never expected Edmonton to make it past Game 5. This is a brutal, brutal beating.

It's only 2-0 so far, but Edmonton has controlled this game from the beginning.

Being i live In Raleigh, the home of the Hurricanes, im gonna have to go with Carolina in game 7. Home team in game 7 of the Stanely Cup has won 11 out of 13 =o.

I love the way Jussi Markkanen is playing and the fact so many ppl
except for us living in Edmonton counted the Oilers out as soon as Roloson was injured
While the home advantage is a big helper
If the Oilers can give the ass kicking they gave the Canes 2nite it wont even be a competition
They owned in every aspect of the game
IMO this series should be over alrdy, we should have won game one
Game two we were outplayed, Game three we were lucky to win since it was close.
Same story for game 4 except we loss. Game 5 went well as we played hard and 6 was not even close
I think between game 2 and 6, Six seemed more one sided than two and im not just saying that cuz i live in Edmonton

But in the end all i can say is
    Go Oilers Go!!!

I think it could be a totally different story in Raleigh on Monday night. I believe that one of two scenarios could unfold.

    1. The Oilers come out flat with Carolina having the home ice (and fan) advantage and fall behind early by a couple. The game will be close with Carolina edging out the home ice win or go deep into overtime.

    2. Edmonton will continue to dominate and will lay another beating in the land of Nascar.

I really doubt Carolina will give the Oilers a solid beating unless Edmonton finds themselves in the penalty box.

PS - Did anyone notice how it seemed Edmonton was on the PP far more than Carolina? Seemed like the Hurricanes couldn't get any momentum or nothing working because Hedican kept taking penalties.

Carolina deserves to lose at this point in my opinion, and I hope they do. My hats off to Edmonton though for making one hell of a series out of it, they are playing some incredible hockey the last few games, such a turn around from game 2, I can't believe it's the same team

The Oilers owned the Hurricanes so bad it should have counted for 2 games.
