  1. hope you guys dont get bothered too much by all the "..aaaaaaaa..." :D

  2. No youtube link? :(

    good commentary though, gj.

  3. Very insightful, well done.

  4. Youtube link is coming.

  5. Yeh sry didnt make any youtube video but you learn better while participating! =)
youtube you are only watching, watching it through wc3 you are clicking and stuff, much more fun!

  6. Youtube link or bust. I only DL audios as a practical test of how fast my internet is going :D

  7. ^ Hehe, I do this too. Our server is really good for download speeds.

  8. Nice one. I'd like a UD vs Orc from UD.

  9. I liked the audio, you had a good delivery and the advice was accurate. I think you could improve in the following ways:

    A) Include a replay of the ud losing and the ud winning for comparison. For example you said the panda 3 was important and we see an elf player losing with panda 2, but it would be clearer to see if we also had a replay with panda 3 and the elf winning.

    B) I was a little puzzled because you mentioned killing ghouls, and a lot of players harass with their panda immediately instead of creeping with it. That seems to go against the idea of creeping the panda being the sole important thing to focus on. Maybe be a little clearer about how much to focus on leveling your heroes vs killing ghouls or harassing the ud creeping is. Would it be valid to double aow creep, etc.

    C) Maybe include some ideas about the late-game, like what to do as the ud if your push fails, or what's the best approach for the elf player if they succeed (immediately expand? Go 60/60? Kill acos?).

Overall a great audio, keep them coming.

  10. griffer, thnx for feedback.

    A) you can find tons of replays like that, i dont rly feel the need to include such a replay just to say "here you can see lvl 3 panda winning"

    B) in most cases good elfs wouldn't do this, harassing with lvl 1 panda doesnt do any good vs a decent ud player and can even be very risky vs good undeads (if you dont have staff). by doing this you are wasting valuable time while ud can tech to t3 and at that point ur panda will be useless. this may however be usefull with fast expand strategy where you want to distract ud player by applying pressure on his base.

    C) Its usualy very hard to come back from a failed push vs elf, i would suggest going fiend/destro combo with possible additions of abos/wyrms and in some cases banshees. at disadvantage vs elf ur best chance is trying to kill of heroes.
expoing after a won fight is usualy not a bad idea

  11. mox sapphire,
i mainly play elf vs orcs because i cant stand the imbalance xD dont think id be much help there.

Those sound like good ideas. It seems to me anytime you do a "push" there are 3 possible outcomes:
    1) the game ends because one of the players gives up
    2) the game continues but one of the players has a big advantage
    3) the game continues but one of the players has a small advantage

I was mainly thinking of 3) here, because the ud player might be winning but then see they are about to lose 3 fiends and teleport back. Or he might lose the fiends and let the elf expo. In either case, the question would be what do you do with your small advantage?

    2) is also important - you have to know good endgames, or else you can just make mistakes and the other player can come back. Not a lot of players will know when they should expand for example vs banking and going 60/60 for example.

    See you next time!

  13. @ Stunny: Honesty works. I agree.
