Don't think tod played his best, even if he was trying to. Results wouldn't have mattered, MYM had already won anyways. But Moon still played fantastically.
I am happy every time a human loses on this close position. It's just a damn fact a human playing perfect CANNOT lose on closeposition vs. elf. This position is "imbalanced" in the real meaning of imbalance, it's totally uncounterable if it's done correctly. And therefore people should give a lot of credit to moon beating this off but after all we know the fact no elf can beat human on closeposi tr when human plays perfect.
I was cheering for Moon this series and am totally excited that he won. But plz get your facts straight Moon fanboys. it is true that Tod had been constantly beating Moon for a long time before PGL.

community is right...ToD wins the way most humans win, with towers and more towers. Most humans suck ass and the pro players who play human are not as good micro and macro wise as those who play any of the other 3 races. All they do is mindlessly send militia ( which have more defence and faster attack than footies) and tower your base or there base, or creep some camp that gets them almost level 3, then they tower , get masonry and win with 0 skill, ToD has made his gaming career on the fact that militia and towers have never been nerfed, instead towers get buffed and have insane repair time. Another example is Storm when he used to play, he made it to near the top of the pro scene and towered his way there

I guess because I don't dedicate 8 hours a day to a video and I'm not a pro gamer, that I can't have an opinion? I'm just judging from the numerous games I've seen tod play, when there's some unit to be blocked and killed he fails, when there's a clutch surround he needs he misses, when he fights equal food battles he is always a step behind other top tier players. Just watch ANY replay of his and you will see, he is not as good as people make him out to be. He is good at winning games, and that's all that matters I guess, but where will he be if towers get nerfed?
while I do agree with community forums on humans only good cuz of towers, I think sky, (who is famous for his tier 2 tower push, true) is exceptionally pro at micro/macro

ToD seemed to kind of give up. His micro was no where near his usual standards. He had Moon's macro a little off balance, he could of at least tried to resurrect his AM. I've seen pro games that were much more tilted and still an effort was made by the currently-lesser-handed player.
I think it was obvious he was still psyched out from Game 1. Then again, he wasn't as sharp as he usually is in Game 1 either. Everyone has their days...
This seems so much inferior to the "free win tower rush". I usually see an earlier scout and 2 gold peasant+all wood peasant militia as soon as you see he's right next to you. w/e tod is the pro.
Someone said towers haven't been nerfed? Masonry was nerfed by 1 armor/upgrade. Remember when human sucked? Mass siege was becoming as humans were getting dominated by playing to win in less than 20 minutes. Then towers get nerfed, hu got raped. Then eventually humans have adapted(or other races top players didn't stay as sharp). Humans don't win because they have towers. They win for the same reason they always have. Mass money and mana. I could go on, but I'll stop here.

Human have the shittest microers because they got the shittest units and race to micro. imo they are more on the macro side of things, when compared with say UD, which is pretty much a pure micro race(no expos/towers), while ne usually can do both

While I've always claimed ToD is over-rated; its just plain ignorant to think he is not pro. ToD got where he is because he is easily the best tower macro player in the world. I agree that ToD's micro has never been as good as most other top players (such as Moon or Sky), but it is "close enough".

tod lost to mouz.fly yesterday even after tod managed to tower fly's base. i guess he's affected by mood again.

ToD played the way he always does. He always sends 238472394 militia and leaves almost none on lumber. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
