EightCounts, weighs a good 36.5 mb but every bit is worth the the download. It allows you to switch between different versions of Warcraft (ROC included) and is quite friendly.

I saw tons of threads asking for ways to watch older replays plus I too wanted a way to watch older replays and it really spiked when people talked about Partisan ranger getting spanked by a solo TC and at the time I didnt know how to view it.
I was told to reinstall and patch up to it but that was too much of a chore. What also contributed was wczei but he discontinued it. So i decided to try my hand at writing a similar program and there you have ever-craft.
I am glad how people are receiving it and that it is still a work in progress. Some bugs but I am working them out. And that I will try to implement any suggestions that people give me into further updates. I will also look to spice up the GUI soon enough but for now this works."
Since this is a beta release (Only for Windows Operating System) and he is working to perfect the program, any testing or feedback that you might have can be entered in the thread link below. Now go and get those oldie goldies running!

Due to bug issues, the eVer-Craft download has been taken down for the time being. Here is the official statement from EightCounts:

there currently is a bug not allowing you to view 1.14 version replays. I am looking in to a fix.

i never saw the wc3m madfrog vs grubby replays. i dont think i can find them on any sites anymore but if i do, at least i wont have to reinstall wc and download old patch.

If this works, I'll be able to download a couple of my epic games from WAYYY back. I'll also be able to watch some of the old INCREDIBLE games (the one with nitemare on gnoll ud vs ud... Most download replay of the first patch). This will REALLY make my summer more fun.
neXXtek - my program will tell you where to DL the standalone patches and unfortunately this does not work with a no-cd crack installed. Besides no-cd cracks are against the EULA and can get you banned from ladder play

EightCounts: Wonderful idea! However, I would advise you to check with Blizzard whether or not this program will be detected as a "third party program" of the kind that gets people's accounts banned on Battle.Net. There seems to be evidence that a replay-saving tool falls into this category; your program might too. Of course, Blizzard may not be keen on you doing this regardless, and may tell you not to if you ask them if you're allowed to do it. So a don't ask, don't tell policy might be advisable. If you choose this second option, then I'd suggest you at least make sure the program operates independantly of the game (don't try to integrate it into the game shell), and doesn't modify program files without restoring clean backups of them when it's done. (you probably know all this already if you have the knowledge to make this in the first place, but nobody else has mentioned it, and I thought *somebody* should)

SubRosa, thanks for the headsup. But have non worries, my program does not alter any blizzard files. It merely moves certain key files that allow you repatch. Even if it was against the EULA (it is not). There would be no way for blizz to find out because everything that my program does, a user could do it manually. It would just be much more of a hassle. :)
subrosa ppl dont watch replays on battle.net they are offline when they watch them so how could they get banned

I get an error message trying to switch back to 1.16. First it says (using patch dl'ed from Blizzard) that it can't read from the sourcedisc (don't know what it says in english :P) and then the black-patch site comes up saying that you do not need to change patch as your current is a newer one. What should I do?

I get disconnected from bnet after ive installed this, might be an coincidence, but i ususaly NEVER get disconnected, and today i have disc'ed every solo game ive played. (around 10+) gonna try reinstall it and try again now :/

I don't know if you can still find them, but anyone who has this program I serious suggesting dl some of the old demension audios, this guy really kicked ass at commentating.
yeah i downloaded it this morning and watched like two old replays, and was trying to download a bunch of 1.14b replays of garg-king (demongod) and it wouldnt let me (btw when you add the patch like 1.14b what do you name it? it wont let me name it 1.14b, do i just name it 1.14 again? doesnt it overwrite 1.14a?)

nice effort, personally dont have a big desire to view old replays but i understand there are some olden goldies which some people want to see. Blizzard invitational Frog reps for one. On a sidenote: Boo dont look like an idiot... u try to use latin (q.e.d) to look smart but u use it in a inproper way, it doesnt fit AT ALL in that sentence. q.e.d is used to end a proof of a hypothesis or conjecture etc. Quod erat demonstrandum, ie what had to be proven. Stultus stulte loquitur.....

Btw, would the only way to keep maps, be to back them up in a different, non-Wc3 folder? Or is there a way that ever-craft will be able to leave maps in the directory that they are in already without having to remove non-essential maps (such as downloaded maps) [ie: only changing Blizzard maps]? (That is a mouthful, lol.) Also: When I reverted to 1.18 from 1.15, the map 'Broken shard' wasn't replaced. I know it's a crappy map, but you can't play 1v1 ladder without it, so you may want to check up on that (might just be me screwing with things, lol). Thanks!

so i installed evercraft, made a backup. tried to patch down to 1.05, didnt work bummer. tried to load backup, gave error but still got me to 1.18, so things are good. so i try to view a replay, all maps are f***ed up... try to copy backup folder to original folder, maps are still f***ed up, try to start a single player map, fatal crash... gj
This program still needs a lot of testing as there are many bugs in it... I do suggest you keep ready your Warcraft Installers and patch just in case things get really messy. Anyway, thanks ever-craft for a job well-done. I hope you get to fix all those bugs... One more things, can I ask what programming language did you use?
