View Full Version : Magnataur, Dota's most ignored here, owns a -dm

I can't remember the last time i saw a Magnataur in an -ap game. You can say that about a lot of heros but this one is special. Most underused heros come with a reason but ask people whether Magnataur is a good hero and they will tell you he is one of the best...but they don't use him.

This is a pubby like a lot of replays posted on here but I find people don't leave -dm games as much. Regardless my Mag survives until the game is pretty much already won. Some great teamwork and skill usage especially in the middle lane as well as a first blood by me that made my toes curl and got rid of what would have been a headache of a matchup.

Hopefully I'll start seeing more of my baby Mag on B.net soon.

This is my first post and I was having problems with the replay generator. I'll give it another go next time when I'm less tired.

A friend of mine plays mag all the time going 2 presevance early then dagger. He then starts to mass BattleFury's as the splash damage stacks and owns everything.

They stack, directly. Getting more than one is a waste of gold however. After dagger you should focus either on survival items to keep you alive after the stun wears off on polarity or damage items to kill them before you take the damage. I personally go Dagger -> Bfury -> Helm of Dominator -> Aegis -> Satanic.

well if they do stack im changin my mag item build too 2 bracers - treads - hyperstone - satanic - bfury -(sell a bracer) basher -(sell another bracer) heart in no order will this build will be in tho

Empowered dmg with half of them splash...and battlefuy does stack making it very strong but just a bit boring at start and cant stop hero running.
