Dayummm, that's like 3 a.m. GMT +1
wai!
has it been confirmed that Mccain will indeed be attending?
Edit: Just checked CNN and yeah he is. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, he decided that Washington and the entire American economy will survive for a few hours without him.
Will Washington survive without the Maverick ? Can the economic situation be resolved without McCain ? Tune it tomorrow at the same bat time and the same bat channel !
I predicted this would happen in the other thread. Now watch him say in the beginning of the debate that he went to Oxford Mississippi only because "insert some empty American patriotic thing to say"...
I'll be watching. Really excited. First presidential debate I'll be watching were I'm semi-informed and actually interested in politics.
They'll be discussing mostly foreign policy, right?

I believe tonight's focus is foreign policy, though Jim Lehrer (the moderator) did tell both candidates that there will be questions in the beginning on the Economy. The economy is slated to be the main topic of the third debate.
This debate should be interesting, it's going back to basics.. the two candidates will be sitting at the same table, and will be able to ask eachother follow up questions... I believe the format is 9 10-minute segments.
Will be interesting to see!
God am I looking forward to this
Are there ever a pronounced "winner" at debates? Or is that up to the media to decide?
When McCain was running for the republican primary in 2000, he refused to debate Bush in California after he found he was getting pounded in the polls.
let them play a bo3 in starcraft vs eachother, the winner will become president
As if Presidential Debates are actually "debates."
