So yesterday my charger stopped charging my laptop and I figured it was done for good. I'd plug it in and it wouldn't even light up--I figured it was fried or some sht. Anyways my brother told me to put it in the fridge overnight and test it in the morning, and miraculously it works now.
My questions are:
1) How did the fridge fix the charger; and
2) Is it a permanent fix?
Thanks!
Not a permanent fix.
My guess (!) is that soldering has cracked / come lose and the gaps expand with heat, hence why putting it in the fridge is a temporary fix.
