    Need some footwear tips

So yea, I got this new job and it requires me to run around alot on a shift basis (so like, 8 hours).

Thing is, my feet tend to get really really sore when I walk around that much. So, anybody got any sort of tips on how to lessen the problem?

You should consult a podotherapist for proper insoles. Most people need to, but it's quite a sore. If you are unlucky, you will end up with insoles that won't ever fit (like me).

In addittion, there are few brands that carry really comfortable shoes. I have especially good experience with 'Ecco'. The shoes don't look great, but they really walk great.

Can't say enough good things about the nike free runs. I'm constantly on my feet at work, sometimes for as long as 12 hours, and no shoe has been as comfortable as these.

New Balance makes great running shoes that have very nice padding for a long periods of running around.

As others have mentioned, insoles might be a good idea. You could even try one of those Dr. Scholls things at a walmart or walgreens type of place. Comfortable running shoes would also be a good idea, I'd recommend Asics. Asics has built a name for themselves making great comfy shoes.
