Drawing with computer

I started drawing as a hobby about week ago. (pen and paper)
And I was wondering. Some people use computer as their drawing tool. So do they use drawing tablet or do they just use mouse to draw? Somehow I think drawing tablet. Because at least I find it too hard to draw even a stright line with mouse.
So. Wich one is it? Or maybe some kind of third option? :-)

drawing tablet most people use either the wacom graphire or intuos tablets.

it takes some getting used to, since it's not quite intuitive at first to not see your hand when drawing, but you get used to it.
